What is an EMG test?
Electromyography, or EMG, is a diagnostic test used to evaluate muscles and nerves for disease or damage. Motor neurons use electrical signals to cause muscles to contract. An EMG measures electrical activity in the muscles during rest and movement. During the procedure, small electrodes are placed on the area being tested. Electrodiagnostic testing, including EMG and NCS, is available on-site at CityPlace 5.
How do I prepare for an EMG?
Clean your skin thoroughly and avoid oils or lotions. Wear comfortable clothing and bring your medication list. You can eat, drink, and take prescribed medications as normal the day of the test.

A free parking garage is located behind CityPlace 5 at 843 N. New Ballas Court, Creve Coeur, MO 63141. Valet service is not available.
