Patient Experience Survey

Your Experience Matters

To help provide exceptional care to every patient, every time, BJC HealthCare partners with NRC Health, a research firm, to conduct surveys about your experiences. You may receive a survey if:

  •  You’ve recently had an appointment with one of our providers (physician, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant)
  • You’ve recently had an Emergency Department or outpatient visit at a BJC facility
  • You spent at least one night at a BJC hospital

Your voice matters. These survey results and comments will help others make more informed choices about where they receive their care.

Survey participation

Participation in these patient experience surveys is voluntary, and while we also use the data and comments in our improvement projects, your personal protected health information is kept private in accordance with HIPAA. Depending on the information you provide, the survey you receive may come via email, text message, a phone call, or a letter. Surveys take only a few minutes to complete.

At BJC, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and patient experience. If you have any questions or concerns about your experience with us, please let us know. Our contact information is at the bottom of this page.

Would you like to be more involved?

BJC HealthCare has Patient and Family Advisory Councils (PFACs) — formal groups of patients and family member volunteers who meet with leaders within our system to facilitate patient feedback on policy, strategy, and program decisions. These councils bring the patient perspective directly into our decision-making processes.
