BJC Health has been named to Newsweek’s 2026 “America’s Greatest Workplaces for Women.” The list honors organizations across the United States whose policies and workplace culture foster environments in which women thrive.

BJC and Saint Luke’s have been on the list every year since it began in 2023. This year, as a fully integrated enterprise, BJC Health received five stars, the highest possible ranking.

“Women make up 80% of our workforce at BJC Health,” says Jackie Tischler, BJC Health chief people officer. “We work intentionally to create policies and programs that give all of our caregivers an exceptional place to work with the support and opportunities they need to both reach their career aspirations and develop in their personal lives. We are proud to be recognized for that effort and thankful to the caregivers who are dedicated to each other, our patients, and our communities.”

Newsweek based selection for the 2026 list on a comprehensive study of survey data, relevant metrics, and third-party data. The study analyzed four years’ worth of employee survey data, including responses related to working environment, compensation and benefits, training and career progression, work-life balance, and more.
