What is robotic surgery?

Robotic-assisted surgery procedures are often less invasive and easier to recover from. During robotic-assisted surgery, a surgeon will control robotic arms equipped with sensors and cameras that can help the surgeon create small and steady movements often resulting in surgical incisions that are smaller than both open and laparoscopic surgeries.

During surgery, the surgeon controls three robotic arms, one with a camera and two holding surgical instruments steady, allowing for more precision and stability, especially in confined spaces within the body.
